The main responsibility of sequencing biotechnology specialist is to build our sequencing platform and propose corresponding solutions for technical problems arising in the sequencing process, including but not limited to Sanger sequencing/second-generation/long read sequencing services.
Qualifications
Ph.D. degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, and other related fields.
3-5 years of research background related to sequencing technology, with high enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility.
Good communication skills, good at coordinating and handling various issues arising from the collaboration.
Good teamwork skills and the ability to lead a team independently to carry out research projects on sequencing.
Ability to identify problems and initiate improvements, as well as strong business driving ability to independently propose a complete sequencing technology optimization plan and drive the implementation of the plan to achieve results.
Responsibilities
Responsible for participating in the construction of the most cutting-edge sequencing technology platform.
Carry out high-level scientific research team building and talent training, and make full use of internal and external resources to improve the professional ability of team members.
Manage and supervise the overall process of sequencing experiments, and be able to independently undertake the development and management of sequencing technology projects.
Participate in academic exchanges, learn about the latest sequencing technologies and industry development prospects and the most popular sequencing research fields, and prepare corresponding technical reserves.
Explore, organize, and construct analytical methods for a variety of sequencing data.
