BCR Sequencing

B-cell receptor (BCR) sequencing is used in the study of immune-related diseases to help researchers deepen their understanding of antibodies and the immune system. What Is BCR Sequencing?

B-cell receptors are transmembrane proteins on the surface of B cells and consist of immunoglobulin molecules that form type I transmembrane receptor proteins. The heavy chain BCR includes IgA, IgD, IgE, IgM, and IgG, and consists of four gene fragments (VDJC) in the variable region (V), variable region (D), joining region (J), and the constant region (C); the light chain BCR includes IgK and IgL, lacking variable region D and consists of three gene fragments (JVC). Through high-throughput sequencing, the base sequences and sequence abundance of these BCR genes can be comprehensively resolved and finally analyzed to obtain the immune characteristics of the organism.

Customers Need to Provide

Samples

Customers only need to inform the BCR strand to be measured and provide samples of B cells, whole blood, bone marrow, or tissue types as requested. We will complete a series of work such as sample RNA extraction, receptor library creation, sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis.

  • For blood samples, the sample volume should be no less than 0.5 mL.
  • For fresh/frozen tissue samples, the sample weight should be no less than 500 mg.
  • For peripheral blood mononuclear cell samples, the sample cell count should be greater than 2 × 105.

Please note that all samples should be stored at -80°C. Do not freeze and thaw repeatedly during sample storage. Please ship samples with a sufficient amount of dry ice when sending samples.

Sample Information

Please provide the specific concentration, volume, preparation time, and species origin for each sample. And inform about the specific information as well as the control and experimental samples (if there are groupings, describe in detail the grouping analysis information).
