De Novo Genome Sequencing
De novo genome sequencing can sequence the genome of a species without a reference genome, mapping the genome sequence of that species and providing a database for subsequent studies. What Is De Novo Genome Sequencing?
De novo genome sequencing refers to sequencing the genome of a species (unknown organism) without relying on any reference sequence, then splicing and assembling the obtained sequence information to map the whole genome sequence of the species and construct the genome database of the species. This helps researchers to predict gene functions and analyze the phylogeny of species. With the whole genome sequence map, it can also provide a platform for subsequent gene prediction and gene function verification, and promote the research progress of the species at the genomic level.
Customers Need to Provide
Samples
- For DNA samples, the concentration should be greater than 200 ng/μL and the total amount of DNA should be greater than 500 μg.
- For plant samples, the sample is recommended to be yellowing seedlings or histoculture samples cultured under dark aseptic conditions, and the sample should be greater than 0.5 g.
- For animal samples, samples are recommended for tissues with low-fat content such as muscle and blood, and the sample should be greater than 0.5 g.
Please note that sampling should be performed from the same individual to reduce the effect of individual differences on splicing. Keep the sampling process as cold as possible. All samples should be stored at -80°C. Samples should not be repeatedly frozen or thawed and transported on an adequate amount of dry ice.

Please provide the specific concentration, volume, preparation time, and species origin for each sample. And inform about the specific information as well as the control and experimental samples (if there are groupings, describe in detail the grouping analysis information).
