ATAC-Seq

Chromatin conformation is one of the key means of gene expression regulation and one of the important directions for studying epigenetics. CD Genomics, as a biotechnology company focusing on sequencing, provides an ATAC-seq to researchers based on our high-end sequencing technology platform to help them to deepen their research on chromatin conformation.

What Is ATAC-Seq?

ATAC-seq is whole-genome transposase-accessible DNA sequencing, an innovative epigenetic research technique. The chromatin in the open region can undergo transposition due to the exposure of DNA; the chromatin in the compact region cannot be accessed by transposase because the DNA is compressed and folded. The successfully transposed region is added with a sequencing adapter sequence and amplified by PCR to generate sequencing reads. Therefore, ATAC-seq is a technology that uses transposase to cut open nuclear chromatin regions in a specific space and time, and then obtain all the actively transcribed regulatory sequences in the genome under this specific space and time.

Customers Need to Provide

Samples

  • For cell samples, the total amount should be greater than 2 × 105.
  • Both fresh/frozen animal and plant tissues can be sent.

Please note that all samples should be stored at -80°C and shipped on an adequate amount of dry ice.

Sample Information

Please provide the specific concentration, volume, preparation time, and species origin for each sample. And inform about the specific information as well as the control and experimental samples (if there are groupings, describe in detail the grouping analysis information).

Deliverables

  • Sequencing raw data
  • Data analysis report
  • Experimental results type files
  • Graphs required for publication
  • Descriptions of some of the methods used in the published article

Applications

  • The study of genetic imprinting, embryonic development.
  • Research on the pathogenesis of cancer, reproductive system, diabetes, and other diseases.
  • Changes in chromatin conformation under specific conditions and the changes in gene expression mediate.
  • Chromosome developmental mapping, nucleosome positioning prediction, transcription factor binding site analysis.

Our Advantages

  • Our ATAC-seq is capable of targeting whole species (eukaryotic) and whole tissue types (including frozen tissue).
  • We provide one-stop service from sample processing, ATAC library construction, sequencing, and analysis.
  • The repeatability is stronger, and the experimental steps and operations are simple and time-saving.
