Individual Tube Sequencing
CD Genomics' Sanger sequencing team can provide you with a convenient and straightforward individual tube sequencing service to meet your lesser sequencing needs. Here's what you need to know about this individual tube sequencing service.
Customers Need to Provide
Prepare the premixed primers and template to be tested according to the individual tube sequencing requirements provided below.
DS Plasmid DNA
- 1,000-1,500 ng ds plasmid DNA template
- 2 µL 4 µM primers
- x µL sterile water
- 18 µL total volume
PCR Products
- Template
- 100-300 bp: 40-50 ng
- 300- 500 bp: 40-160 ng
- 500 bp- 1 kb: 500 ng
- 2 µL 4 µM primers
- x µL sterile water
- 18 µL total volume
You are asked to ensure that the sample is cleaned up before submission, not just diluted or desalted. Size exclusion columns are recommended. Ethanol precipitation is not recommended as this will not remove unbound dNTP and primers.
Labels and Tubes
- Samples to be tested must be submitted with pre-mixed primers and templates.
- Please use a 2.0 mL self-standing tube with a 0.5 mL interior.
We do not accept individual tube premix reactions submitted in any tube type. We will barcode the tubes immediately upon receipt to avoid errors.
We Are Ready to Provide
- Upon receipt of your individual tube sample, we first apply a QR code to your sample to be tested.
- PCR amplification and purification will then be performed on your samples. the PCR products are then directly tested for quality. If the purity does not meet the sequencing requirements, we perform further purification.
- We perform Sanger sequencing after sequence purification. And we perform the corresponding bioinformatic analysis according to your needs. Finally, we return the sequencing data and corresponding charts to you.
