LncRNA-Seq

Long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) is a generic term for a large class of RNAs greater than 200 nucleotides in length that also do not have protein-coding capabilities. Recent studies have shown that lncRNAs can regulate gene expression at epigenetic, transcriptional, and post-transcriptional levels, and various important regulatory processes, and are closely associated with the occurrence, development, and prevention of human diseases. At CD Genomics, we use high-throughput sequencing technology for lncRNA sequencing and combine it with bioinformatics to predict and analyze the functions of lncRNAs.

What Is LncRNA-Seq?

LncRNA-seq is a sequencing method developed for the identification and expression detection of lncRNAs. Its technical principle is to eliminate the highest content of rRNA in RNA, and then remove the higher content of small RNA such as tRNA and snRNA by magnetic bead screening, and then sequencing all the remaining RNA by library building. Therefore, lncRNA-seq can also detect the expression of all mRNAs and some circular RNAs.

Customers Need to Provide

Samples

  • For cell samples, a total volume of 2 × 106 is required.
  • For tissue samples, send a minimum of 100 mg for animal tissues and 500 mg for plant tissues.
  • For lncRNA samples, be sure to remove RNA using a special procedure.
  • For total RNA samples, please provide total RNA samples with a concentration ≥ 100 ng/µL and a total amount ≥ 2 µg. The samples should also be deproteinized and DNase treated.

Please note that all samples should be stored at -80℃ and transported on dry ice.

Please provide the specific concentration, volume, preparation time, and species origin for each sample. And inform about the specific information as well as the control and experimental samples (if there are groupings, describe in detail the grouping analysis information).
