What Is Single-Cell RNA Sequencing?

Single-cell RNA sequencing is a new technology for sequencing single-cell genomes or transcriptomes at the single-cell level. This technology solves the problem of cell heterogeneity that cannot be solved by sequencing tissue samples. Single-cell RNA sequencing can help researchers study cellular functions and better understand intercellular differentiation, cell lineage relationships, and disease evolution by studying gene expression within individual cells. Single-cell sequencing also helps discover possible biomarkers and drug targets, as well as rare cell types, and plays an important role in contemporary disease, immune, and oncology fields, as well as in tissue, organ, and developmental research.

Customers Need to Provide

Samples

  • For tissue samples, fresh tissue with a sample volume of not less than 1 g and without treatment such as freezing or fixation is required.
  • For cell samples, cell activity and morphological integrity are required, with a sample volume of not less than 1 µl and multiple replicates.

Please note that the sampling or extraction process should be kept as cold as possible. All samples should be stored at -80°C, do not freeze and thaw samples repeatedly, and transported on an adequate amount of dry ice.

Please provide the specific concentration, volume, preparation time, and species origin for each sample. And inform about the specific information as well as the control and experimental samples (if there are groupings, describe in detail the grouping analysis information)
